Research Assistant
Tina Čerpnjak finished her bachelor’s degree at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Architecture in 2016. After continuing her master’s degree in Stuttgart Academy of Arts, she enrolled in Aalto University, Department of Architecture in 2017. The main focus of her studies has been to define architectural and urban design problems in a complex systems framework with the aid of computational tools and methodologies. She further pursued her interests with an exchange at the Singapore University of Technology and Design in 2019, with an emphasis on landscape urbanism and creative machine learning. She graduated with honors in 2021. Her master thesis dealt with utilizing agent-based modeling of pedestrian flows as a means of urban scale spatial formation.
